We provide help for teens struggling with issues such as depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, alcohol and drug use, or teen dating violence.  Our mental health services are free or at low cost for those who qualify for Medi-Cal or are underinsured in the Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys.

Know the Warning Signs

Knowing the warning signs for teen mental health issues can help you catch problems early — before they become more serious.

  • Persistent sadness that lasts 2 weeks or more
  • Feeling overly fearful, anxious, or worried
  • Withdrawing from or avoiding social interactions
  • Talking about self-harm, harming others, or suicide
  • Extreme anger or irritability
  • Drastic changes in mood, behavior, or personality
  • Major changes in eating or sleeping habits
  • Frequent headaches or stomachaches
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Falling behind in school or earning lower grades

A Team of Caring Professionals

Our caring staff of professionals help teens learn to cope with the unique challenges facing adolescents learn to cope with challenges, setting them up for thriving later in life.

We provide individual therapy in our office, in the home and through telehealth services via phone and video sessions. A therapist helps to identify problems and develops a treatment plan, which may include group or family therapy.

Here’s How We Can Help

Group therapy helps teens share their feelings with others. In this safe environment, children can share and receive support from others in the group.

Family therapy is helpful for decreasing family conflict and strengthening relationships within the family.

Teens may experience thoughts of harming themselves or others.

Outpatient drug and alcohol treatment program for teens.

Our domestic violence program can help teens experiencing teen dating violence or unhealthy relationships.

Medication can be effective for treating depression, anxiety and behavioral problems. Our staff psychiatrists perform individualized assessments, prescribe and monitor medication if needed.
